We are looking for singers of all voices, (SATB), particularly Altos & Basses to come and join us. It doesn't matter where you're from, because we sing anywhere, and in any church - within reason! The closer you are to Yorkshire & North Lincolnshire, the better though, as this region is where most of our events take place. All singers will be made very welcome! |

We have invitations to sing in Leeds, Brinkburn Priory, Stow, Barnard Castle & York. We also have an open invitation to Fontgombault in France - subject to enough people volunteering!... Any suggestions for possible future venues for us to sing? Just email Mike Forbester. As soon as dates & venues are confirmed, you will see them here! |
In 2008 we shall be returning to Brinkburn Priory, York, and visiting Manchester for the first time.
We shall also be returning to Barnard Castle for the Annual Founders Day Requiem and the Greek Orthodox Church in Leeds.
2007 also marked the start of the Schola Cantorum singing regular services [usually from The Divine Office] in York City Centre at St Mary's Church, Bishophill Junior, York where we have been made to feel so welcome. We sing Compline and, occasionally, Vespers regularly.
